Public Health—MPH Health Promotion & Health Education
Public Health is research in action. The Science of Prevention. The Master of Public Health (MPH) will prepare highly competent public health professionals with the knowledge and training to prevent disease and restore health in local, national and global communities.
PROGRAM LENGTH
This 45-credit program can typically be completed by on-campus students in 18 months to 2 years and by online students within 18 months to 2½ years.
APPLICATION DEADLINES
The Master of Public Health program is admitting new students. Prospective fall and spring semester students must complete the application and submit all the requirements before July 15 for fall semester, and December 6 for spring semester.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelors degree (or non-U.S. equivalent) from an accredited institution and a minimum 2.60 overall undergraduate GPA, a 2.75 GPA in your final undergraduate courses, a 3.00 graduate GPA on at least 8 semester credits, or already hold a master’s degree.
- Two Recommendations from professionals such as advisors, major professors and employers.
- Resume providing a complete overview of employment, research or special projects.
- Statement of Purpose reflecting your philosophical perspective, personal, professional and academic goals, and reasons for seeking the graduate program.
- Minimum TOEFL score of 80 or 6.5 on the IELTS English Proficiency if language of education was not English
