Pastoral Ministry—MAPM
The Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry is a part-time experiential program designed especially for experienced pastors whose ministerial functions and employment responsibilities make it impossible to engage in an extended study program at the Seminary.
PROGRAM LENGTH
This 48 credits program can typically be completed by students in 4 years.
APPLICATION DEADLINES
There are no application deadlines for the Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry Program. Enrollment is on a rolling admission basis.
POINTS OF DISTINCTION
- Low teacher-student ratio.
- Christian philosophy of learning and teaching.
- Accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) and by the Adventist Accrediting Association.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelors degree (or non-U.S equivalent) from an accredited institution and a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.50 (Applicants with lower GPA may be admitted upon consideration of the composite profile).
- Three Recommendations: two general and a conference president recommendation.
- Resume describing employment, research or special projects.
- Statement of Purpose reflect¬ing your philosophical perspective, personal, professional, academic goals, and reasons of seeking the graduate program.
- TOEFL, IELTS or PTE (academic): Students whose language of education is not English must submit English proficiency tests scores.
- Seminary Background Screening.
